The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Christ

The Virgin Mary is the Mother and Protector of the Universal Church. We invoke her under the title of Our Lady of Perpetual Help; for in our sacred task of brining the hearts of the faithful back to Christ, we need her prayers in our work. As Mary became our first true model of faith, we try to follow in her example of charity and dedication. As the Greatest of All Saints, we invoke her as the Regina Caeli, the Queen of Heaven.

Saint Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274)

Saint Thomas Aquinas is the Patron Saint of booksellers and publishers. Since our whole mission is to write literature to the praise and glory of God, we have chosen Saint Thomas Aquinas as one of our Patron Saints. He has written many pieces, which include church hymns and study books, which is used in the Seminaries for the studies of the Priesthood. During his life, St. Thomas Aquinas was known as "Doctor Angelicus" because of his pious lectures and written pieces. Many of the church hymns that St. Thomas Aquinas has written are still used in the church today, including the hymn to hail the Blessed Sacrament, "Pange Lingua Gloriosi", which in English is "Sing, My Tongue, the Savior's Glory." He was canonized in the year 1323.

Saint Francis Xavier (1506-1552)

Saint Francis Xavier is the Patron Saint of Missionaries, people who spread the message of God's salvation. In a way, through our literatures, we are Missionaries of God's Salvation and love. In each of our pieces, we present to the reader the true and divine, burning love that Christ has in His Sacred Heart. He baptized many people of many nations, and brought them to faith in Jesus Christ. St. Francis Xavier also taught the teachings of the Catholic Church, and spread the Word of God. We follow in the example of this great Saint, and invoke him to obtain for us from our Heavenly King holy inspiration, so that we may be instruments to enlighten our readers with the peace of Christ.

St. John Bosco (1815-1888)

St. John Bosco was filled with the light of Christ, and was not afraid to preach the message of his Lord to all. The young and old would gather to listen to the words of this great Saint of God. St. John Bosco had a special love for children, to whom he would preach the Gospels of the Lord, and raise them in the faith of Christ. We imitate in the footsteps of St. John Bosco by our writings, many of them focused in to instruct children. If a child is instructed the teachings of the Catholic Church, they will prosper in their beliefs, to rejoice in learning about Our Lord Jesus. He was canonized in 1934.

Saint Anthony of Padua (1195-1231)

Saint Anthony of Padua was born in Portugal of noble parents. Within the years of his youth, he felt a call to follow Jesus Christ more closely. He became a priest, and a Franciscan. Saint Anthony had a special love for the poor. He died in 1231, at the age of thirty-six. We invoke Saint Anthony of Padua for his work of charity. As he expresses care for the poor, we too wish to share this same spirit of charity toward the poor and the needy. We also invoke him as the patron saint of the lost. Through our writings filled with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we pray to seek out the lost souls and bring them back to Christ, their maker.
