Division of Catholic Charity

At Un Bello Fatto- Studio di Scrittura, we propose a goal for each month. As we prepare our goals, we most definitely remember the needy and less fortunate. Since we are Catholic in name, let us also be Catholic in deed. We then respond to the Call of Jesus Christ Our Lord, in His Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy. For, it is in the poor that we see our brother, in those crying out to us we see Jesus Christ Himself. For, He said "Whatsoever you do for the least of these, you do for me." So, for each month we have planned a special charity to whom we shall donate 10% of the proeeds from each item that we have for sale. We remember that in each person is the image and likeness of Christ our Master. Please see our planned charitable events below. Each are tentative, depending upon the amount of proceeds collected.

OUR COLLECTION CAUSES: January-December 2008

January-February: Collection for the Missionaries/those aided by the Missionaries.

15% of each item purchased within the months of January to February will be donated to this cause.

March-April: Collection for the purchase of food for the less fortunate.

15% of each item purchased within the months of March to April will be donated to this cause.

May-June: Collection for the purchase of clothes for the less fortunate.

15% of each item purchased within the months of May to June will be donated to this cause.

July-August: Collection for monetary donations to the poor.

15% of each item purchased within the months of July to August will be donated to this cause.

September-October: Collection for the poor Franciscan Friars, those who took a vow to poverty, that our donations will help them to purchase necessary supplies for their order. The Franciscans rely on the donations of the faithful to purchase food and necessary supplies.

15% of each item purchased within the months of September and October will be donated to this cause.

November-December: Collection to purchase toys for the poor children for Christmas.

15% of each item purchased within the months of November and December will be donated to this cause.

The Plan for Charitable Donations was organized by the Division of Catholic Charity at Un Bello Fatto- Studio di Scrittura, in their new campaign, "In the Light of Christ."
