BOOK UPDATES:
When the book is released, we will host a Book Signing at some of the Bookstores
on Staten Island. Please check this website frequently to see where and when we are hosting a book signing.
"The Life of Jesus Christ For Children: From the Crib to the
Cross" is expected to be completed around the time of Easter 2008 or April of 2008.
When the book is published, our first book will be presented to the Most
Holy Father, His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI in Rome, to whom we correspond. We will ask him to bless the Second Copy
of our First Book in Publication.
On August 24, a milestone was hit! This book has been
accepted for publication. It is expected to be released for Easter Time. We are a step closer to reaching our goal on this
book, which is distribution!
We have asked the Parochial Vicar of our local parish to write a letter,
which will be included in the book, as he will describe the benefits and characteristics that one will have when reading this
book, as they learn more about the Life of Jesus Christ.
On August 23, 2007, just at the closing of our office,
our director,
Anthony J. Gorgia II, has signed the paperwork to register "The
Life of Jesus Christ For Children: From the Crib to the Cross" for a copyright!!
On August 24, 2007, we sent in the paperwork in the
mail to the Library of Congress. We will receive a certificate in the mail, to announce that this new release has been recorded
in the Library of Congress, for a copyright.
One publisher associate was known to say, "I am not even Catholic, but I
understood many of the Catholic beliefs [through this book]."
"The Life of Jesus Christ For Children:
From the Crib to the Cross"
This book, "The Life of Jesus Christ
for Children: From the Crib to the Cross" is ideal for Religion Instructors, Catechists, Parishes, or basically anyone
who wishes to teach or learn more about the Life of Jesus. When I say, "From the Crib to the Cross", I mean to say that I
covered every aspect of Christ's life. However, I am also certain to include the glory of Christ, in the Resurrection and
Ascension into Heaven. In the back of the book, I included prayers, that can be said to Jesus and the Blessed Mother. In a
way, this book is both for instructional purposes and can be used as a mini-prayer book. Along with the prayers, I briefly
discussed the meaning of which the prayer states, so that the reader can find at least one prayer that fits their request
the most. On many of the pages that discuss the Life of Jesus, I included Bible verses, which shows a deep correlation of
how the Scripture has helped to form our belief in Christ. At the bottom of those pages, I included the part of the Bible
in which I took the verses from, in order of appearence, by stating "Book", "Chapter", and "Verse". Allowing children to learn
how to look up verses in the Holy Bible is in the curriculum of the Staten Island C.C.D course. This will help the Catechist
instruct the class of how to look up verses in the Bible, because the verses also appear in the book, just to check if the
verse was looked up correctly. When this book is released, I will make a formal announcement to parishes , as well as to our
interested visitors of the official site of "Un Bello Fatto- Studio di Scrittura." Please read above for our most recent updates.
Please note that 15% of each book purchase will be donated to a charitable
cause.
